How Conservatory Roof Insulation System works
The UK insulation values or "U" values are currently used to measure a products heat transfer, the lower the "U" value the better the insulation which means less of your valuable heating will be lost.
And with the ever increasing cost of heating rising 18% on average this year, now is the time to act!
If you have a conservatory you will know just how hard it is to keep it warm in the winter months, and how stiflingly hot it will become in the summer months.
The reason is because of the high "U" value a conservatory roof structure is made up off polycarbonate sheeting or glass, meaning your valuable heating literally goes straight through the roof in the winter months.
And it works vice versa retaining too much heat in the summer months.
Wouldn’t it be good if you could use your conservatory all year round in comfort!
Well now you can, here at conservatory roof insulation systems our fully trained fitters can install our bespoke insulation system to your conservatory roof, transforming the room into part of your home, giving you the extra living space.
Our bespoke insulation system is fitted with adequate cross ventilation preventing condensation or sweating of the structure.
Air vents are also fitted within the system for that extra peace of mind.
The system uses high performance composite 40mm insulation consisting of 19 layers of (A) grade polished reflective film and thermal webbing giving stunning insulation benefits. And effectively deals with all forms of heat transfer (i.e. Conduction, Convection and Radiation).
Following careful installation the roof is finished of with plasterboard and two coat skim finish.
When dried the customer can then apply a decorative finish.
The system has 60mm approx reduction in head room when installed.
No alteration is made to the conservatory roof or to its vaulted profile.
