Our bespoke conservatory roof insulation system is fitted with adequate cross ventilation, preventing condensation or sweating of the structure. Air vents are also fitted within the system for that extra peace of mind.
40mm YBS SuperQuilt insulation
Our conservatory roof insulation system uses high performance 40mm composite YBS SuperQuilt consisting of 19 layers of (A) grade polished reflective film and thermal webbing giving stunning insulation benefits.
The Superquilt conservatory roof insualtion process effectively deals with all forms of heat transfer such as Conduction, Convection and Radiation.
Plaster Finish
After carefully installing the conservatory roof insulation, a pressure treated tanalised timber sub frame is attached that follows the conservatory roof profile, at this stage the conservatory roof is vented to eliminate condensation the conservatory roof is then finished with a lightweight fibre reinforced plasterboard and a two coat plaster skim finish. When dry, you can then apply a decorative paint finish as desired.
We can also give our customers the option of led lighting
No alteration is made to the conservatory roof or to its vaulted profile.
Conservatory Roof Insulation explained
The U.K. insulation values or “U” Values are currently used to measure a products heat transfer, the lower the “U Value” the better the insulation
Put simply, our Superquilt conservatory roof insulation out-performs any other conservatory roof insulation products on the market today.Typically, an untreated polycarbonate conservatory roof has a U-Value of 1.61w/m2k. Installing conservatory roof blinds reduces this on average to 1.42w/m2k whilst “Metal Inserts” would typically reduce the U-Value to 1.1w/m2k.

A typical U-value of 0.42w/m2k can be achieved, second only to a new build tiled roof of 0.35w/m2k.
